Spring 2024-2026 Fellowship Scholarships

The scholarships listed below are available to Fellowship-Accepted participants who will not be receiving financial support (with the exception of CME funds) from their institution to complete this program. Please see below for specific scholarship details. You only have to submit one scholarship application. We will consider you for any of the scholarships for which you qualify. Selected candidates will only be awarded one scholarship. Enrollment in 2024-2026 Spring class is mandatory. All our scholarships are need-based so FAFSA scores and statements of need are highly recommended. Please see our website for specific scholarship details.

 - General Scholarships: We're offering four (4) scholarships of up to $7,500.00 for the Spring 2024-2026 class open to any Fellowship-accepted applicant.

 - Greer Scholarships for Participants Practicing in Underserved Areas & Lura Lovell Scholarships for Participants Practicing in Underserved Areas: The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine is committed to bringing integrative medicine to underserved populations. We have scholarships for up to $15,000.00 available to accepted participants serving an underserved population. Please include a short statement of how you serve these patients. Please indicate in your statement if you work for the Indian Health Service, in a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, or a Community Healthcare Center. If you are an international participant, please include a short statement outlining the underserved population you serve. The amount of the scholarship is dependent on several factors: quality of essay, program application, CV, statement of need, underserved statement, FAFSA, and letter of support from your director or a colleague. We would also want to see a long-term commitment to working with underserved populations.

 - FOR PAs, PharmDs, and APRNs: There is one scholarship of up to $15,000.00 available for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, PharmD or a Physician Assistant. The amount of the scholarship is dependent on the quality of essay, program application, CV, statement of need, FAFSA, and letter of support from your director or a colleague.

 - STAMETS INDIGENOUS HEALING SCHOLARHIP: Thanks to the generosity of a donor, a scholarship of up to $15,000 will be awarded to applicants already accepted to the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine who have experience in modern biomedicine and indigenous healing and show a commitment to bringing integrative care to indigenous communities and areas of the underserved. Applicants should have training in healing that is derived from an indigenous tradition or community from any area of the globe and/or be providing healthcare to an indigenous community. Indigenous for this scholarship refers to healing traditions originally practiced by local healers in the culture it originally served. Please include a statement of your involvement in indigenous healing traditions.

HOW TO APPLY

You must apply to the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine by November 27, 2023. Upon acceptance, you'll have until December 4, 2023, to apply for scholarships. You only have to submit one scholarship application. We will consider you for any of the scholarships for which you qualify. Selected candidates will only be awarded one scholarship.
