FINAL WINTER LECTURE THURSDAY

During Thursday's lecture, Sea Turtles and their hunters in the Caribbean, participants will learn why the Caribbean turtle fishery ended and how efforts to save turtles reveal important lessons about sustainability for other waterscapes, including the Chesapeake Bay.?

Build-A-Boat students shared a lunch with Admiral of the Chesapeake, Vince Leggett, and received signed copies of his book, The Chesapeake Bay Through Ebony Eyes.

Participating BOR kids make progress on our Passagemaker dingy boat by preparing the hull for fiberglassing.
