SO PROUD OF ADAM

Go Adam!

Adam Okedeyi is one of the three Box Of Rain (BOR) scholars who received the Annapolis Yacht Clubs (AYC) three week sailing camp grant. Box of Rain’s mission is to connect youth to the Chesapeake Bay and their maritime heritage through fun, educational, and immersive experiences in nature.

Adam had the opportunity to participate in his very first sailing event at the AYC’s Junior Regatta. He ranked 8th place out of 25 contenders. His passion and interest in sailing has only grown significantly since then and he plans to join the sailing team at Annapolis High School this fall.

Huge thanks to Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation (AYCF) for creating this opportunity for our Box of Rain scholars.
