Box of Rain's Summer Maritime campers went aboard the Skipjack, Wilma Lee to check oysters, explore maps, and learn about Annapolis area’s rich maritime heritage.

Box of Rain’s mission is to connect youth to the Chesapeake Bay and their maritime heritage through fun, educational, and immersive experiences in nature.

What a splash!
AMM summer campers had an unforgettable experience with the Chesapeake Mermaid who taught them all about the history of the Bay and the animals who call the Bay home.
The Chesapeake Mermaid is a nonprofit organization and their outreach focuses on Chesapeake Bay wildlife and habitats, promoting daily environmental stewardship.
