Box of Rain Kayak Is A Summer Must-Have

This summer must-have could be yours! The Box of Rain students, thanks to donations from Chesapeake Light Craft and Holly and Mark McCulloh, assembled this beautiful 12 ft wood duck kayak made of Okoume plywood. The kayak is lightweight with a large cockpit and ample stability to emphasize comfort.

The kayak is now on sale for $1,500. Please contact Mary Ostrye at [email protected] to purchase this beautifully handcrafted kayak.

All funds will go back into the program to continue fostering kids ‘creativity, skill development, and the expansion of their professional aspirations.

Wilma Lee Educational Cruise

Last Wednesday, students from the Mt. View Middle School's Oyster Gardening Program helped raise Wilma Lee's sails, explored the boat, and learned about the skipjack's role in oystering. We loved having them on board!
