The Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race was founded to promote public awareness of the Chesapeake Bay’s maritime heritage and encourage the preservation and improvement of the Chesapeake’s natural resources. They accomplish this goal by presenting educational programs and supporting regional organizations that share this vision.

AMM members play an incredibly valuable role in continuing the rich legacy and tribute to Annapolis' maritime heritage and award-winning educational programs. Because of members like you, we can continue to preserve and explore the maritime history of our region, and encourage all people to be good stewards of our treasured Chesapeake Bay.
