Red Cross Blood Drive - December 1 from 10 AM - 2 PM
Join the American Red Cross and give the gift of life at our blood drive!  You can pre-register for your donation time by following this link.  Every donor will receive a $10 Amazon e-gift card and will be automatically entered to win one of 12 holiday prize packages! Dolores Hydock Presents:  A Mixed Up Christmas - December 5 at 2 PM
Join Master Storyteller Dolores Hydock as she shares stories about good intentions, bad timing, grumpy families, lessons learned and a ski vacation with no snow.  In other words, another perfect Christmas!  (3 Rewards)

Trivial Pursuit Trivia Night - December 8 at 5:30 PM
Get ready to test your knowledge and quick thinking at our Trivial Pursuit trivia night! Gather your team of four, grab a buzzer and face off against the countdown clock in a showdown of wit and wisdom.  Teams of four will compete for the grand prize! (Doors open at 5:30 PM, trivia starts at 6 PM)  (3 Rewards)

Lego Christmas Build Race  - December 19 at 5:30 PM
Teams of up to four participants (ages 10+) will compete against the clock and others to complete a Christmas themed Lego challenge and win the grand prize! Up to four people per team. Registration required.  Pre-Register at publiclibrary.cc/lego

$5.00 Non-Refundable deposit required! For an extra $5.00, you may keep your Lego build to take home!

The Do it Group - Starting January 18 at Noon 
Are you an organizer or do you need to get organized? Either way, the DO it group is for you. Come share your successes or challenges with Teresa Kiser and Beverly Vickers on the third Thursday of the month from Noon to 1PM. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch.  Drinks will be provided!

Model City Chess Club - December 16 at 1:30 PM
Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month. For all ages, beginner to advanced. FREE and open to the public.

Theater Camp (PG-13) - December 4 at Noon
The eccentric staff of a rundown theater camp in upstate New York must band together with the beloved founder's bro-y son to keep the camp afloat.

Prancer: A Christmas Tale (PG)  - December 11 at Noon
Ten-year-old Gloria and her recently widowed grandfather Bud befriend a mysterious reindeer when the family gather for Christmas. Bud comes to believe that Prancer may actually be magical, but Gloria fears his theory will send him straight to a retirement home.

Just Friends (PG-13) - December 18 at Noon
While visiting his hometown during Christmas, a man comes face-to-face with his old high-school crush and best friend--a woman whose rejection of him turned him into a ferocious womanizer.

Teen B.Y.O.B Club - December 7 at 4 PM
TEENS Got a book you read recently that you absolutely loved and want to share with others? The first Thursday of every month bring a book you can't wait to rave about, enjoy snacks and hear what awesome gems others have found for your TBR list!

Anime Club -  December 14 at 4 PM
Join us in the Ayers Room to watch a new anime title and enjoy Japanese snacks and prizes every month!  This month we will be watching Cells at Work.

Teen Gingerbread House Contest - December 21 at 4 PM
Teens!  Come build a gingerbread house.  Best design wins a prize!

D&D Day - December 9 at 1 PM
Join us at the Library for D&D and pizza!  All skill levels welcome!

Game Night - No Game Night for December
There will be no game night for the month of December

Homeschooler Computer Class - December 1 at 11 AM
Learn how to do everything from spreadsheets and resume writing to coding and creating graphics.  Held at the Carver Branch Library located on 722 West 14th Street, Anniston.

Teen Homeschooler Art Class -  December 15 at 11 AM
Learn about famous artists, movements, styles and mediums and then create works of art yourself! Ages 13+

Join us for Storytime every Tuesday at 10 am in the Ayer's Room! Enjoy a Storytime, a sing-a-long and a craft!

Pick-Up Craft, Weekly in December
Each week a new craft will be available. You can pick up a kit in the Children's Department.

Winter Wonderland - December 4 from 4 - 5:30 PM
Come to the Library any time between 4 and 5:30 pm to get your photo with Santa, play in the snow, make a Christmas ornament, decorate Christmas cookies and play Christmas games!

Homeschooler Children's Art Class -  November 17 at 11 AM
Explore different kinds of art! Held at the same time as the teens Homeschoolers' Art Class in the Anniston Room.  (Ages 6-12).  Pre-registration is required.  Visit publiclibrary.cc/art to signup.

Cozy Christmas Movie -  December 15 at 4 PM
Come enjoy cookies and hot cocoa in your pajamas as we watch a classic Christmas movie!  To see what movie will be playing, please visit publiclibrary.cc/events.

Pokémon Card Club  - December 20 at 3:30 PM
Come trade Pokémon Cards and play the card game with others in the Children's Department!  Attendees will receive three free cards!  Held every third Wednesday at 3:30 PM.
