They drew! They danced! They painted! They shined!

Dear Friend of the Arts Foundation,

Living in a homeless shelter isn’t easy, especially if you’re a child. A sense of normalcy is hard to come by - living with your parents and siblings in a small room. That is exactly what 12-year-old Tamara* has experienced while living at Angel House in Hyannis.

But this summer, you gave Tamara and eight of her peers a sense of normalcy - even joy.

Your support of the Arts Foundation covered the costs for nine children living in shelter to attend arts and sewing classes for six weeks, taught by professional artists, through The Cordial Eye.

This week you'll receive a letter from me sharing more about the impact of your giving that brings children confidence and connection through the arts - a sense of belonging - that you make possible through your year-end support of our mission.

Please know that we would be entirely grateful for your help to keep the doors open to the arts for ALL children on Cape Cod - regardless of background or ability - with your donation today.

The one thing I can promise you is that your gift to the Arts Foundation... no matter the amount... will change the lives of families you may never meet, but who will be forever grateful for your generosity.

Thank you for standing with the arts.

With gratitude,

Julie Wake

Executive Director
