As Murders Rise In Pa, Fetterman Pushes To Release More Murderers

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. — As the number of homicides continues to rise in Pennsylvania, John Fetterman still has not backed down from his radical and extreme policies to let convicted murderers and violent criminals run free.

“John Fetterman is the most radical and extreme politician ever to run for Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate seat. Fetterman is so extreme that he has voted to pardon convicted murderers, advocated for releasing 1/3 of all prisoners, pushed to end cash bail, and endorsed DA Larry Krasner’s radical policies to prosecute cops while letting murderers go. Meanwhile, Pennsylvanians are paying the price for Fetterman’s radical policies with rising violent crime and unsafe communities,” said Brittany Yanick, Communications Director for Dr. Oz for Senate.

John Fetterman continues to push radical policies that make Pennsylvanians less safe:

-John Fetterman supported the release of convicted murderer Jahmir Harris who has reportedly killed again.

-John Fetterman has repeatedly said he agrees with the mass release of one-third of Pennsylvania’s prison population.

-John Fetterman supports eliminating life sentences for murderers.

-John Fetterman supports radical District Attorney Larry Krasner and his soft-on-crime policies that have contributed to Philadelphia’s record-high homicide rate.

-John Fetterman has called for defunding the police, is endorsed by groups that want to defund the police, and supports councilmembers who have called for defunding the police.

-John Fetterman called to eliminate cash bail, calling it “common sense” in 2018.

-John Fetterman was the lone vote to pardon convicted first-degree murderer like Alexis Rodriguez who brutally took part in beating his victim with a baseball bat before shooting him in the back. John Fetterman also voted to pardon degree murderers Charles “Zeke” GoldblumJohn David Brookins, and Wayne Covington.

-John Fetterman has pushed to decriminalize fentanyl. Fetterman has repeatedly called for decriminalizing all drugs, including heroin, meth, and fentanyl. In an interview with The Nation in 2015, John Fetterman said “I’m pro-legalizing marijuana, but I go even further… I’m for decriminalizing across the board.” In 2018, John Fetterman called for opening “safe injection sites,” and it was suggested he “supports legalizing heroin,” saying that we need to have “all the options on the table.”

-John Fetterman supported opening heroin injection sites.

-John Fetterman supported Oregon Measure 110, which decriminalized drugs and contributed to an increase in homicides by nearly 55 percent and overdose deaths by 41 percent.

-Fetterman has a scary record of being soft on crime. FBI data shows that violent crime surged in Braddock, PA when Fetterman was mayor. In 2017, during Fetterman’s tenure, violent crime peaked as the number of reports to local police quadrupled compared to 2006.
