Asian Art Museum Happy Holidays

Arts and Entertainment

December 22, 2022

From: Asian Art Museum

As we gather in celebration with friends and family, I am reminded just how brightly the enthusiasm and support of our community have shined this year. Thank you for joining us for a series of powerful exhibitions and programs that garnered rave reviews and international acclaim. Every member of our museum family has played their own unique role in this year’s successes; it has been moving to witness the great potential of our combined efforts.

The arrival of the Winter Solstice today brings the end of Sagittarius season, as imagined in the above print from the Zodiac Landscape series, currently on view in Color Trip: Yoshida Hodaka’s Modern Prints. I encourage you to treat yourself to an outing at the museum for the holidays: both Hodaka and Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk are dazzling exhibitions full of vibrant color, perfect for getting into the festive spirit.

With gratitude for this year’s dedication to our shared vision and a renewed excitement for next year’s possibilities, I wish you and your loved ones a truly joyous holiday season.
