Dry Mexican Mole Spice Kit

Stop by any of our branches throughout the month of May and pick up a
Dry Mexican Mole Spice Kit! Each kit will include a pack of spices, a recipe, and information about the history of Mexican cooking.

Monday, May 8th

Adairsville - Monday STEM Play (Ages 0 - 5)
10:30 am

Children are never too young to start doing STEM activities. Join us each Friday for hands-on activities that focus on science, technology, engineering, and math.

Brown Bag Mystery Chat
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Magic and Mayhem
Read a mystery featuring magic, witches, ghosts, or other paranormal elements and share with the group.  You will leave with new titles to read.
 
Location: Cartersville Library Conference Room 

Bingo
2 pm - 3 pm

Take an afternoon break from stress with Bingo at the library. Have fun, meet new people and win prizes! Game play for adults only.

Computer Class: Word Formatting
2 pm - 3:30 pm
Learn to create bulleted lists, format paragraphs and more.

TableTop Guild for Adults

5 pm - 7:45 pm
Join our weekly Tabletop roleplaying games group at the Cartersville Library! Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Adults only, please. Most games/campaigns are open to new players. Feel free to drop in to watch or join in! For questions and inquiries about specific games, please contact Finley at [email protected]

Prime Time Family Reading

Join us for Prime Time Family Reading!  A fun and free night of reading one night a week for six weeks!

Crafternoon: Embroidered Greeting Card

3 pm - 4 pm
Make an embroidered greeting card for someone you love. This ombré design is actually pretty simple to make, even if you're a total embroidery newbie. Perfect for Mother's Day!

Thursday, May 11th

Mexican Train Dominoes

2 pm - 4 pm

Have fun playing Mexican Train Dominoes at the library. If you don't know how to play, we'll teach you! Adults only.

Knit & Crochet Group

6 pm - 7:30 pm

Knitters, crocheters, and crafters of all kinds are encouraged to join us each month for socialization, encouragement, or possibly help with your current project.

Bring your projects with you for "show and tell." We look forward to seeing you!

Teen Chess

6 pm - 7:30 pm

Drop in and play live chess against your fellow chess fans.  Also learn new strategies and openings!  Ages 12 - 18.

Sit 'N' Stitch
9 am - 12 pm
Needlecrafters of all kinds are encouraged to stop in for this group co-hosted with the Etowah Valley Quilt Guild. Bring your quilting, applique, embroidery, needlepoint, cross stitch or beading projects to work on and for "show and tell." 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.

Excel IF & VLOOKUP Functions

Perform logical comparisons between values using the IF function and look up information in tables using the VLOOKUP function.

Mindful Meditation Discussion and Practice

We invite you to join us as we come together to explore mindful meditation. Classes are led by experienced mindfulness meditation leaders who volunteer their time, and each bring their own style of sharing and unique perspective to the group. Open to all. No cost. No experience necessary.
