Cajun French Music Jam

Mardi Gras Saturday CFMA Cajun Jam this Saturday, 1-3 PM. SHERYL CORMIER AND CAMERON FONTENOT will lead us. Join us for FREE. Bring your instrument if you'd like to play along, or bring your dancing shoes to tap along.

Come dance at Vermilionville! Bayou Vermilion District & Vermilionville host live music, EVERY SUNDAY from 1-4 p.m. THIS SUNDAY, CJ VEDELL & THE ZYDECO GRAPPLERS!  Admission is only $10, FREE for Vermilionville members, and includes a self-guided tour of the living history museum. AND -- THIS IS NEW -- if you attend the Zydeco Dance Lessons at 11 AM at Wildcat Brothers Distillery in Gator Cove, show your wristband in the Visitors Center for $2 off admission! Learn the moves, then come to Vermilionville to show 'em off!!

Come early and grab lunch at Vermilionville’s restaurant -- open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and features an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays. Les Vues Film Series Returns February 27

Mark your calendars -- Vermilionville's free film series returns February 27 with All on A Mardi Gras Day by Royce Osborn. This must-see award-winning documentary tells the story of African American Mardi Gras and features amazing archival film and great Mardi gras music. After the film, Alton "Tiger" Armstrong will speak about the history of the Lafayette Mardi Gras Indians and his experiences as Big Chief.
