Cajun French Music Jam

Cajun Jam This Week 2 Pm - 4 Pm Saturday December 17, Featuring Jace Goulas & Luke Huval. This is the last Cajun Jam for 2022, since Vermilionville will be closed the next two weekends for the holidays. The Cajun Jam is sponsored by the Cajun French Music Association, and is free to attend.

Bal du Dimanche

Come dance at Vermilionville! Bayou Vermilion District & Vermilionville host live music, EVERY SUNDAY from 1-4 p.m. This Sunday, Dikki Du & The Zydeco Krewe. Admission is only $10, FREE for Vermilionville members, and includes a self-guided tour of the living history museum. AND -- THIS IS NEW -- if you attend the Zydeco Dance Lessons at 11 AM at Wildcat Brothers Distillery in Gator Cove, show your wristband in the Visitors Center for $2 off admission! Learn the moves, then come to Vermilionville to show 'em off!!

Come early and grab lunch at Vermilionville’s restaurant -- open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and features an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays.

Plus Saturday is also our Les Mains Guidee Workshop, join Kate Ferry and make santons ("little saints") out of Sculpey, which then gets fired and painted. The workshop is 10 AM - 3 PM. Find more informaiton Here.

New Year's Eve Dance with Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie

Ring in the New Year with Geno Delafose and the French Rockin’ Boogie! Don’t miss the biggest party of the year at Vermilionville with delicious food, drinks, and dancing with Geno Delafose, New Year’s Eve at Vermilionville.

Lobby opens at 8 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. with music from 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM. Food and beverage are available for purchase. Admission is $35 per person and includes a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight.

All funds from this annual event will go towards programs that promote and preserve local cultures in Acadiana.
