Steve Boyd of Nashville’s legendary White Animals will be performing at the Beaches Museum Chapel Concert series Monday September 25, 2023. The White Animals toured the country in the 80’s earning regular MTV VJ play. They opened for such acts as The Talking Heads, The Ramones and The Kinks. Steve will be joined by White Animals guitarist Rich Parks and rounded out by a rhythm section to present a 4-piece rock band.

Chapel Concert: Tyler Neal Band
Tuesday, October 24, 2023

Tyler Neal is no stranger to the Chapel as he toured with Col. Bruce Hampton as his lead guitarist for two years. Since Bruce’s unexpected death in 2017, Tyler has been leading his own band and working on his first album of original songs. Joined by Yonrico on drums and fellow Madrid Express alumnus Frahner Joseph on bass, the album is being produced by Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell of Tedeschi Trucks Band. Tyler always knew he had to play music but didn’t always know why. The first leg of his musical path has made it clear, music is not just a project but a need. Like Bruce always said, “there’s a gun to my back and I have to choice. I have to play music. I’ve tried to quit but the universe won’t let me.” This has become a mantra for Tyler, always reminding him to push ahead in the face of doubt, and believe in music as his best hope to meet his best self.”

Chapel Concert: EG Kight
Wednesday, November 15, 2023

Back by VERY popular demand, EG Kight will be taking the Chapel stage for the 3rd time and this time, she's bringing some friends! Since live music made a comeback after the pandemic, in addition to the occasional solo show, Kight has been touring as a trio, with “the boys,” two of her long-time band members - drummer/percussionist Gary Porter and guitarist/dobro player Ken Wynn. Kight explains how it all came together. "The three of us have performed in my band together for over 20 years, and Gary and Ken are like brothers to me. This stripped-down version with just the three of us allows for a tighter show with sweet harmonies, harp, percussion, drums, dobro, and acoustic guitars."

Individual concert tickets are $30 and a season pass for all 3 is $75.

Tickets include light refreshments and a donation bar in the historic Oesterreicher-McCormick Cabin.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.
