Explore Watercolor Painting

Thursday June 8, 15, 22, 29 

A guaranteed painting with each class!

Instructor Susanna Anastasia comes to Belmar Arts having spent 30 plus years teaching the basics of watercolor painting.

Students will begin to explore the mechanics of this medium along with the properties of paint, paper and water.

Kids Summer Camp

Instructor: Jamie Sheehan

Date:? July 10-14th or July 24th - 28th

?Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Young artists will create a variety of artwork through a 5 day art camp under the instruction of 2 certified art educators. Artists will complete a finished project each day. Projects will range from drawings, paintings, collages, and weavings! If you are unable to attend all 5 days, you may sign up for individual sessions.

Belmar Arts is excited to start the summer bringing back singer, arranger, and composer Sandy Sasso. Sasso has been one of the top requested performers and educators around for over three decades. Sandy has toured the world, playing with Dorsey, Goodman, Pops Big Band and so many others and has also kept lively locally with a fifteen year residency at the 55 bar in the West Village. Sasso continues to tour the world with combos and big bands, as well as perform locally. Luckily for us she's becoming a regular here at the Arts Center

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of intimate interpretations of standards as well as some pop tunes, and some improvisations.

The Night Owls and Johnny Rock

 The Night OWLz are a mix of rock & breezy classic pop. The band is composed of veteran musicians, most notably, Mike Walsh; fresh off his Face The Music record release on Rock Company Records. The band is run and fronted by guitarist and composer Brian Thomas Rutzler. The Night OWLz will be playing covers of bands like The Beatles, The Eagles, America, Chicago, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead and more...Special opening performance by Local Legend ...Guitarist JOHNNY ROCK!!! It's ALL about The Music.

Pride Bash

Join us for a fabulous night of music & merriment in celebration of LGBTQIA+ PRIDE month and Caitlin McGarry’s birthday. Caitlin is a local writer and singer/songwriter for the musical duo Register 2 with Matthew Trice. Enjoy a whole lineup full of LGBTQIA+ performers, including music by: Register 2, Padraic’s Joy, Matthew Trice, Shinything, Brook Pridemore, Outer Shapes, and poetry by Dogmatic. Light refreshments will be provided. Come support and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community with us, catch some great live local bands, and wish Caitlin a happy birthday!

Laughter and music are the universal languages and here you can find both. Belmar Arts is a host to many types of performing arts and comedy is no different. We are happy to have these artists come through and share their craft and help us smile. Catch Comic Jim Maywalt, along with veterans Mike Hernadez, Gay Lirot, as well as Sean McDonough. Join us for a night of cracking up.

We will meet at the front of the Ocean Grove Great Auditorium (the part that faces the ocean).We will walk around tents. Then walk towards Main Ave for possible street type photos and interesting shops we finish the walk on the new pier.

The Plein Air Artist Group is all about leaving the 4 walls of the studio and coming together to experience the freedom of drawing and painting outdoors.

All artist mediums, genres and skill levels are welcome
