Fantasy, Fables, and Fear
October 23 to November 18?

Digital Submissions Due: October 14 @ 11:59pm
Opening Reception:? Saturday, October 28, 3-5pm

The realistic world we live in is finite with rules and limitations. The composition of our environment, people and nature has a variety of restrictions. However, there is another place outside of this one ----- that of the creative mind of the artist. The Fantasy, Fable and Fear show illustrates each artists freedom to highlight another world without these limits and populate it with inventive characters and scenes.

Step into and join us in exploring the “paths” of the artists imagination.

Shared Interest Groups

In November 2022, Dorsey Lucas was awarded a Grant through the Monmouth Conservation Foundation to design and erect a metal sculpture at Jackson Woods, a public park in Long Branch. The environmental “Resilience” project is screened and sponsored by NOAA, and the NJ DEP and NJ State Council on the Arts. This year’s theme is “Coastal Flooding”. Dorsey and Rich Lucas completed and installed “Rising Waters”, a 21’x11’ aluminum sculpture in August. There will be an “Opening” event at Jackson Woods, Ocean Ave. N. Long Branch, on Saturday, October 21 at 3-4 pm. The public is invited to attend. (Parking is available on Avenel Avenue and the Early Education parking lot.) There will be light refreshments, speakers, original poetry read from Monmouth County authors, and also a display of “recycled to art” from Lisa Bagwell and Carla Valentino.
