The City of Beverly Hills will hold three community meetings at the sample site and City Staff will be available to answer questions and seek input from stakeholders in  preparation for the next Liaison Meeting scheduled on October 19th.

Meeting options are on:

Wednesday, September 27th at 11 am- 12 pm

Tuesday, October 3rd at 9:30 am- 10:30 am

Tuesday, October 10th at 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Newsom and Bass: ‘Grateful’ for Breakthrough on Hollywood Writers Strike

A tentative contract agreement was reached between the top entertainment studios and the union representing screenwriters on Sunday, September 24, ending the 146-day walkout that exposed deep divisions over income inequality and rapid technological advancement. The agreement comes as a welcome relief to the Californian economy, which has been impacted by the loss of television and film production in recent months.

Now, attention is focused on the much larger actors' union, which went on strike in July and placed its own negotiations on hold while it waited for a deal from the writers. To read more, click here.
