Tech Help Tuesday

Confused about your new iPhone or iPad? Need help formatting a Word document? Drop in to the library between 11am & 12pm to get a tech question answered. First come, first served. Sessions will be limited to 15 minutes per person.

Voter Information Drop-in
Tuesday, September 26 from 3 - 7pm
Did you know September 26th is National Voter Registration Day? With local elections happening this November and national elections next year, it’s important to make sure you’re registered to vote. The League of Women Voters will be at the Blackstone to provide election information as well as voter registration for residents of any town/city in CT.

Saturday Cinema: Book Club: The Next Chapter
Saturday, September 30 from 2 - 4pm
Movie magic, now at Blackstone! Join us for Saturday Cinema and see a highly anticipated new release on our big screen in the auditorium. Showings are the last Saturday of the month at 2:00pm.

This month we’re watching Book Club: The Next Chapter (2023, PG-13). It follows the new journey of four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had.

Best Seller Book Club:
Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See
Saturday, September 30 from 3:30 - 4:30pm
In the Best Seller Book Club, we’ll be reading and discussing newly released, highly rated books from a wide variety of genres. This month we're reading Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See.

Banned Book Club:
The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison
Tuesday, October 3 from 6:30 - 7:30pm
Join us for our next Blackstone Banned Book Club meeting! This group meets the first Tuesday of every month to have a non-judgemental, civil discussion of various titles that are being challenged and banned, both locally and nationally. The purpose of this book club is to simultaneously discuss these titles, and to bring awareness to the rapid rise of book challenges and bans. This month we're reading The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison.

Registration is required to attend this IN PERSON event.
