Nickerson Lecture Speaker

The Brewster Ladies’ Library Association is announcing that Robert Woodward will be the featured speaker for the annual Nickerson Lecture Series to be held on Saturday, October 22,2022 in Brewster.

Bob Woodward is a legendary Pulitzer Prize-Winning Investigative Journalists; Associate Editor of the Washington Post and author of 21 best sellers.  Bob Woodward gained international attention when he and Carl Bernstein uncovered the Watergate scandal in 1973. As a speaker, Woodward pulls the curtain back on Washington and its leaders to captivate audiences with stories that are sometimes surprising, at times shocking and always fascinating Peril, his latest book published speaks to the transition from President Donald J. Trump to President Joseph R. Biden Jr. stands as one of the most dangerous periods in American history.

Individuals with paid membership in the Brewster Ladies’ Library Association will be eligible to register for this program, at a maximum of two seats per household.  The opening date for registrations will be announced later this spring; registration is not yet available.  If tickets remain after that date, reservations will be opened to the wider community. Those interested in joining the Association may do so via the Library website, www.brewsterladieslibrary.org. A number of other events related to this lecture also are being planned and will be announced later this year.
