JUNE 3RD - OPEN AIR CONCERT AT ST. MARY'S PARK
ENJOY A NIGHT OF MUSIC AT THE NEW GIL SCOTT-HERON AMPHITHEATER
BCA is pleased to present Durieux with special guest Zeyi. Join us for a free BX Expressions concert at the new Gil Scott-Heron Amphitheater in collaboration with NYC Parks, as part of their NYC Parks, Culture and Fun series on Friday, June 3rd from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Don't miss this live music experience produced by Uptown Melody as Durieux fills the air with a blend of alternative rock, funk, and soul. It will be a night to remember!
JUNE 7TH - ARTIST ENGAGE SERIES
PANEL DISCUSSION AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
BCA Artists Engage series presents Arts & Disabilities, a panel discussion focusing on how Bronx-based artists explore the ways in which having a disability has informed and impacted their artistic practice.
An in-person, interactive experience, Arts & Healing, will culminate the Artists Engage series this year, combining movement, creativity, and healing practices to promote well-being and reduce stress.

JUNE 11TH – NYFA RESOURCES AND SERVICES TALK
LEARN MORE ABOUT RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO YOU
BCA is collaborating with and hosting New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) as they present an overview of their national programs and services on Saturday, June 11th from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If you’re looking to raise funds to finish a project, seeking feedback on your work, looking for an artistic residency, or trying to find a job, NYFA has resources that artists can use to help sustain and grow their artistic practice. All artists are welcome to register and learn more about the resources at their disposal.

JUNE 15TH – GRANT APPLICATION CYCLE OPENS BRONX CULTURAL VISIONS FUND
The application cycle for the Bronx Cultural Visions Fund (BCVF) opens on Wednesday, June 15th. Don’t miss the opportunity to get support for the development of new ideas and the production of new work in the performing arts, including but not limited to dance, music, theater, performance art, and multi-disciplinary performance work. Guidelines will be available on June 9th.
JUNE 15TH - LIGHT & SHADOW: REDEFINING VISUAL SPACES
OPENING RECEPTION AT THE LONGWOOD ART GALLERY @ HOSTOS
BCA returns to the Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos with the ground-breaking exhibition Light & Shadow: Redefining Visual Spaces, featuring the works of eight artists that incorporate elements of light and shadow to create visually powerful narratives. Join us to meet the artists during the opening reception on Wednesday, June 15th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
