Carpenter's Mortuary Spook House in Gentry, Arkansas is one of the few haunted attractions in America that's actually inside A Real Abandoned Mortuary.
Is the old Mortuary in Gentry, Arkansas Actually Haunted - In 1990, local artists began to occupy the building that was once Gentry’s mortuary and funeral chapel. They transformed the space into a project studio devoted to music, film, and many other art forms. Over the years, visitors, including paranormal investigation groups, have reported strange phenomena there. They’ve seen unexplained lights and noises. They’ve had the feeling that someone, or something, was breathing down their necks.

There's such a variety of haunts in and around Northwest Arkansas - each one terrifying and entertaining in its own way - and we want our visitors to experience them all! So, five of us got together and decided to reward those who survive them all with a freak-tastic t-shirt!

Our haunted attraction is truly a labor of love, and to be awarded this recognition means the world to us! A lot of blood, sweat, and tears go into the design and creation of the scenery; but, as any haunt owner will tell you, it's the talent and dedication of the actors that bring it to life! Thanks so much to all the dreaded morticians, undertakers, coffin builders, and grave diggers who terrify our victims each year.
