ABOUT Thor and Loki: Midgard Family Mayhem

In Thor and Loki: Midgard Family Mayhem, international bestselling author Jeffrey Brown explores a Marvel Universe containing not only amazing powers, but also bedtimes, playground games, and picky eaters. In this playful reimagining, pint-sized Thor and Loki have traveled with their parents Odin and Frigga across the ten realms to their favorite world, and Midgard (aka Earth) may never be the same.

Eisner Award-winner Brown has read and drawn comics since he was a child, and these iconic Marvel characters take him back to his youth. “Thor was always one of my go-to comics to pick up at the comic shop, and I even had the little Thor Hot Wheels van,” he says. “Getting to dive in and do my own take on Thor and the other Asgardians was an absolute treat, especially Loki, who's so much fun.”

In this sweetly funny comic collection finds the kid gods of thunder and mischief suffering helmet hair (Thor), trying to ride the school bus as an alligator (Loki), playing freeze tag with the Avengers, crafting Odin an All-Father’s Day present, discovering a mysteriously delicious food Midgardians call “mac and cheese,” and much more.

As with his beloved and bestselling Darth Vader and Son series, Brown’s humor, inventive colorful artwork, and playful approach to the characters make this a must-have for Marvel fans of all ages, and a great book for the whole family.
