The celebration kick-off Friday with events for all ages and culminates with our fireworks display on Monday evening. With the Presidential Mountain Range as your backdrop, join us on the veranda or the lawn and watch the sky light up with our grand finale.

Dr. Douglas Arion, Director of the Carthage Institute of Astronomy and Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Carthage College, will give a presentation on the intricate history and fascinating phenomena between life on Earth and the Universe. Learn about the amazing events that led to the formation of our solar system. Stargazing through telescopes following the presentation, weather permitting.
