Experience Rochester is pleased to announce a new community tradition to ring in the new year. Celebrate Rochester! New Year's Eve will take place at Mayo Civic Center on December 31, 2022 from 2:00pm:  – 12:30 a.m. on January 1, 2023. Admission is FREE. Financial donations are suggested and will support area non-profits. A limited number of reserved VIP tables will be available for purchase for the evening entertainment and can be purchased here.

2:00pm - 8:00pm:

2:00pm: Doors Open to the Public - Free admission!

Food and beverage vendors and family activities begin

Rollerskating with DJ, interactive games, and video games in the Exhibition Hall

Igloo lounge with coffee, hot chocolate, and smores station, along with outdoor fire pits and interactive activations by the Rochester Fire Department and Rochester Park and Recreation Department's "Thrive Outside" Winter Activities Trailer on the Center Street outdoor patio

Interactive Ice Carving display and live carving demonstration at the primary entry (Door #31 near Civic Theatre)

Activities with community partners in the North Lobby, including Rochester Art Center

A "Kids Ball Drop" and bubble celebration at 5:00 p.m. to ring in the new year

3:00pm - 6:30pm: Daytime Entertainment

Clay Fulton and the Lost Forty and Push and Turn

5:00pm: Kids Ball Drop

8:00pm: Family activities and food vendors close

Evening/Adults Only Entertainment

6:30pm - 12:30am:

Local and regional live music, dancing, special effects, food options and bars

Local breweries and food vendors in the North Lobby

Midnight Ball Drop display with champagne toast

VIP tables and packages are available with an online reservation

Alcohol purchases and consumption will require a wristband from ID check tables

6:30pm: VIP Welcome in Concert Venue

7:00pm: Doors Open for General Admission - Evening Entertainment
