From: Central Arkansas Library System

Little Rock, AR – The Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) and the Center for Arkansas Legal Services have once again teamed up to offer Lawyers in the Library. After a two-year hiatus, this very popular event has returned. Events take place monthly from July through November (with October skipped due to Six Bridges Book Festival events). Patrons are invited to listen to legal presentations followed by an opportunity to ask a lawyer their civil legal questions.

"We are proud to have this limited series return to CALS," said Mark Christ, Head of Adult Programming at CALS, "The last time we ran this event we were able to help more than fifty people get personalized legal advice. For many of the patrons we serve, this access is invaluable." Topics include Criminal Record Sealing and Public Benefits like SNAP and SSI, and will end with a record-sealing clinic (pre-registration required to ensure a spot for this event). Events will take place at a variety of CALS branches. Full details on each event below.
