Government and Politics

November 7, 2022

We are just 4 days out from Election Day 2022. Team Chabot is sprinting through the finish line and not letting a second go to waste. This week, we released our fifth ad, titled "Barry". Congressman Chabot has been traveling the district, knocking doors, and meeting with first responders and small business owners.

Read on for these updates and more from the trail!

Congressman Chabot on the Trail

Congressman Chabot Knocking Doors

Despite some rainy weather on Sunday, Congressman Chabot still hit the trail and knocked doors. This weekend, Congressman Chabot knocked doors in Norwood and in Evendale. Team Chabot has been knocking across the district with teams in nearly every community.

Team Chabot continues to pound the pavement and have officially crossed one million voter contacts and continue to work hard through Election Day.

OH-01 Door Launches

This weekend, Congressman Chabot joined Senator Rob Portman, Gov. Mike DeWine, and JD Vance in Sharonville to kick off a major day of door knocking. Senator Portman and Congressman Chabot greeted volunteers at our Campaign Headquarters later that morning, launching even more volunteers on their way to knock doors.

Our volunteers are fired up and have been working hard across the district!

NEW AD - "Barry"

This week we released our fifth ad, titled "Barry". In the ad a local small business owner highlights Greg Landsman’s record of increasing the burden on families and small businesses.

“Hardworking families and small businesses feeling the squeeze of rising costs simply can’t afford another tax-and-spend politician like Greg Landsman who has a demonstrated track record of increasing the burden. As small businesses worked to recover from the pandemic, Landsman introduced a plan to slap them with arbitrary and damaging mandates — and as families and small businesses faced rising costs as a result of the unchecked Biden-Pelosi agenda in Washington, Landsman voted to increase taxes eight times on the Cincinnati City Council.”

Congressman Chabot on Fox News

On Saturday, Congressman Chabot joined Fox News Live to discuss the race, inflation, rising crime, and Greg Landsman's record of failure.

Immanuel Church of Christ Fall Festival

On Sunday, Congressman Chabot attended the Immanuel Church of Christ Fall Festival in St. Bernard. The rain moved the festival inside but everyone was still enjoying spending time together as a community.

Visit to Mike Castrucci Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

This week Congressman Chabot visited Mike Castrucci Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram in Fairfax. Congressman Chabot has spent his career fighting for small businesses in Washington and always happy when he has the opportunity to visit with job creators in our community.

Delivering Cups to First Responders

Congressman Chabot has been traveling throughout the district, meeting with local first responders to thank them for their service and to hear about the ways that Congress can better support them. We're eternally grateful for their service and the sacrifices they make.

This Week’s Blog - "6 Days"

With less than two weeks until the Election, this week's blog is about what's at stake in the closing days of this election:

"Okay, back to the most consequential midterm election in a long, long time. Please, please, please – vote! And if you have friends and family members who love this country, and want to get us back on the right track, make sure they vote too.

Because this is our chance. This is our opportunity. To make us once again, as Ronald Reagan famously said, “that shining city upon a hill."

We're in the final days of the Election. Make sure you have a plan to vote and make sure your friends and family do as well. Every vote counts and every vote matters. Let's win this.
