Rosamond Parkway in Anna now open for access
The City of Anna to announced Rosamond Parkway to U.S. 75 is now open. The roadway serves as a critical East/West connection between U.S. 75 and S.H. 5 in northern Anna. Read more.

Students' art work recognized during first juried art show in Anna
Twenty-four students participated in the competition. Zaylie Harris took home the top prize, followed by Annatte Adusei (2nd place) and Keely McGrath (3rd place). Read more

Breakfast with the City Manager
You're invited to Breakfast with the City Manager on Friday, March 10 from 8-9 am in our Municipal Complex Council Chambers. The topic will be focused on Boards and Commissions and the various ways to get involved in civic engagement.

Senior programming for Spring
The City of Anna Recreation team offers free and low-cost programs and services to older adults stay active, adventurous and connected.

-Senior Trips - Take a day trip with fellow Anna neighbors to museums, theaters and shows, historic towns, and seasonal festivals and fairs. Browse the upcoming trips and register.

-Talk and Talents - Enjoy a free presentation from a variety of guest speakers and musicians each month at the Municipal Complex. Tuesday, March 14, April 11, and May 9 from 11 a.m. to noon. Register for free

-Lucky Charm Lunch - Celebrate St. Patty's Day with a festive lunch and activities. Friday, March 17 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Grace Place. Register for free.

-Crafting Corner - Each month, the Recreation team will guide the class in a craft. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, you're bound to enjoy the creative time and have something unique to take home. Class fees range from $5-$20. Register

Provide input on the city's wayfinding
We are embarking on the development of a citywide wayfinding program. The new system will help people find their way and encourage visitors to discover our attractions and community assets. We are currently beginning the Discovery Phase of the project. During this stage, the consultants will be gathering information that will help inform the design of the system. We invite you to take this survey to share information about how people find their way around Anna.

April 22 is Earth Day! Join the City of Anna for a celebration with live music, food vendors, artisan vendors and educational booths.

As a reminder, the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) will temporarily change the disinfectant in its water treatment process from March 6 through April 3. The annual, routine change is necessary to maintain the regional system and year-round water quality for the more than two million customers NTMWD serves in a 10-county region in North Texas in a 2,200-square-mile service area. More information.
