We honor our veterans
The Community Enhancement and Compliance Division is giving away yard signs to our local veterans. Signs are available on a first come, first serve basis and can be picked up at Anna Municipal Complex until Nov. 10. If someone is homebound, email us and we will deliver.

On Friday, November 11, city facilities will be closed in honor of our veterans. Trash and recycling services will continue on a normal schedule.

There is still time to submit your feedback in the Community Survey
The survey allows the city to compare results and benchmark neighbors’ opinions against other communities across the country. The survey includes questions about quality of life, services provided by the city and priorities for the future. Complete the survey

Time to prep for the holiday season
Are you a Christmas décor before Thanksgiving person? Have you started sorting through your old holiday décor and packing up Halloween? We want to remind you that 'Tanglers' like Christmas string lights, old toys, and old decorations create a huge problem at recycling sorting facilities.

Hoses, cords, and light strings get caught in the machinery and can take hours of hazardous work to fix.
Please throw these items away in the trash or even better, upcycle them in a craft somehow!

Free trees given on Arbor Day
In honor of Texas Arbor Day, we gave away 100 Live Oak seedlings to Anna neighbors.

Congrats to our winners!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 10 Days of Halloween, played Parks Bingo and submitted photos of their costumes as a part of our contests! Stay tuned for our Winter Recreation guide that will be coming in the few weeks.
