The General Election for Councilmembers of the City of Cameron, Missouri, will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Candidate filing opens on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 8:00 am The deadline for filing for Council is Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 5:00 pm.

General requirements of a candidate for council are:  at least twenty-one years of age prior to taking office; a citizen of the United States; and, an inhabitant of the City of Cameron for at least one year next preceding the election.  The three-year terms of Roy Estes and Dennis M. Clark are expiring.
