Included on utility customer's June utility bill is the annual primacy fee.

This is an annual requirement from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). The fee, which was signed into Missouri law in July 1992, is to be paid by the customers of the state's public water supply systems and supports MDNR's efforts to ensure Missourians are provided safe drinking water. This is a state requirement and is billed once each year by the City of Cameron.
