-Finalized and distributed/posted agenda and packet for the December 20, 2022 Closed Security Session at 5:00 p.m., Meeting Procedures Session at 5:30 p.m. and the City Council Regular Meeting at 6:00 p.m.

-Continued preparing and reviewing agenda and items for January 17, 2023 Regular Meeting.

COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMNENT AGENCY (CRA)

-Continued preparing and reviewing agenda and items for January 17, 2023 Board Meeting.

OTHER ITEMS

-Attended Retirement Luncheon for retired Public Works Director Jim Moore.

-Attended Employee Holiday Luncheon.

-Assisted in post-Employee Holiday Luncheon clean-up.

-Conducted City Clerk’s Office orientation for new personnel.

-Met with Departmental Directors and City Manager throughout the week regarding current, ongoing and future projects and initiatives.

-Communicated with Mayor and Council Members regarding various items and initiatives.

-Reviewed and approved Agenda Items for the December 20, 2022 Regular City Council Meeting.

-Met one-on-one with Council Members to discuss the Agenda Items for the December 20, 2022 Regular City Council Meeting.

-With Community & Economic Development Director, Community & Economic Development Deputy Director/Sustainability Manager, Senior Planner held teleconference with prospective developer of a proposed multi-story, mixed-use facility on W. Central Boulevard.

-Attended the 2022 Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Retreat at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

-With Council Members, Staff and honored guests, attended the 2022 Employee Appreciation Holiday Luncheon at the City of Cape Canaveral Community Center.

We would like to thank all those who participated in the 2022 Giving Tree Program. The generosity of those who took tags from the Giving Tree and donated towards meals for families in need this holiday season has been nothing short of amazing.  Thank you for sharing and caring.

Building Inspections:

Parks Recreation + Community Affairs

DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES: 

-Assembled and distributed the Weekly Update 

-Managed the City's social media platforms and website

-Worked with other departments and partner agencies to develop effective community messaging

-Created marketing materials and completed other graphic design work for City programs, reports and publications

-Met with varied contractors/utility providers to address needs for current and upcoming City projects

-Continued onboarding process of Exhibits Intern for the CAPE Center

-Attended City of Cape Canaveral Employee Holiday Luncheon

-Tallied votes for Light Up Canaveral contest and notified winning entries

-Attended Holiday In The City event
