PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE ISSUED

The City of Casselberry Public Works and Utilities Department is issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the homes on Oak Lane from Park Drive to the end of the cul-de-sac.  This notice has been prompted by a water main break that has occurred behind Oak Lane within the Greenville subdivision, unrelated to Hurricane Ian.

Door hangers have been distributed to all those affected. Please boil tap water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes for one minute (rolling boil).  Bottled water may be used as an alternative.  This boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a Bacteriological survey renders the water safe to drink. A rescission notice will be issued once the notice has been lifted.

For more information, please contact Lynn Jerrell, Public Works Utility Project Coordinator, at 407-773-3203.
