City of Chandler is awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

CHANDLER, Ariz. – A Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has just been awarded to the City of Chandler by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOC). This was the 41st consecutive year that the city has received the award. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.

The city received the accolades for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022. The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate people to read the report.
