CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) announced last week that they would reduce reporting of COVID-19 cases to once a week, beginning this Wednesday, and discontinuing all COVID-19 Vaccination reporting.

Following the announcement, the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District will follow DSHS guidance and report COVID-19 cases weekly. As COVID-19 cases have decreased, there has been an increase in flu cases. As a result, the Public Health District will begin posting flu data weekly (every Friday) on our social media as we condense both COVID-19 and flu reports.
