City of Destin Public Notice
Pursuant to section 286.011, Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners will convene for a special meeting on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. at the Okaloosa County Administration Building, 1250 N. Eglin Parkway, Shalimar, Florida 32579, to discuss beach-related issues such as East Pass dredging and study findings, Army Corps Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study, NuShore restoration project, beach vending, sea turtle monitoring, sand dune restoration, public beach acquisition and other topics related to the beaches in Okaloosa County. Two or more members of the Destin City Council may also be in attendance. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  

Okaloosa County adheres to the American Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications for access to this meeting upon request. Requests may be made to the County Commission Office (850-689-5030 or 850-651-7105) and must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting to provide the requested service.
