With the New Year approaching, the City of Granbury would like to remind residents that the use, possession, or sale of fireworks within the city limits is illegal.
In part, the ordinance reads:

a) It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, store, offer for sale, expose for sale, or sell at retail any fireworks within the corporate city limits of the city.
b) It shall be unlawful for any person to use or explode any fireworks within the corporate city limits of the city or within five thousand feet of the city limits.
