Milton, Fla. – As qualifying week draws to a close, City of Milton is proud to announce your qualifying candidates for City Council and Mayor.  

For Ward 1, incumbent Councilman Vernon Compton will again seek another term as councilman for the ward.   He will seek his seat against fellow ward 1 resident Mike Cusack.

In Ward 2, residents Marilyn Farrow and Wesley Meiss will both seek to fill Councilwoman Shann Rice’s seat, who will not seek another term.

Ward 3 will see incumbent Councilman Robert Leek seek to continue his term in office. Also seeking the Ward 3 seat is resident Gavin Hawthorne.

In Ward 4, Councilwoman Shari Sebastiao will seek to keep her seat on the council against resident Jason Vance.

Mayor Heather Lindsay will also seek a second term as mayor and will race off this election against city residents Mary Johnson and Dan Stillings.
