-Do not place your tree in a plastic bag.

-Place the tree next to the containers on your regular collection day.

-Please schedule a bulky item pick-up by contacting (909) 395-2050 for Christmas trees set out after January 13.

Artificial Trees

-Donate artificial trees in good condition to your local nonprofit organizations.

-If possible, recycle the base and trunk (pole) of the tree in the blue recycling bin.

Point-in-Time Count Volunteers Needed

All year long, outreach teams in the City of Ontario connect homeless people to resources, services and housing. In just one morning, you can help them by surveying your homeless neighbors.

On Thursday, January 26, 2023, the City of Ontario’s Continuum of Care staff will support the County of San Bernardino's annual Point-in-Time Count and volunteers are needed!  If you are available from 5 AM to 10 AM the morning of January 26, please consider signing up.

The Point-in-Time count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. This count helps the City of Ontario get resources to assist those who are or are at risk of becoming homeless.

If you are available to volunteer or would like more information, please register here and select Ontario as your volunteer location.
