Andreas Hessing is an artist, landscape designer, and contractor at Scrub Jay Studies. For more than 20 years, his site-specific installations have celebrated regional biodiversity while focusing on the philosophical, political, and social implications of California’s indigenous flora. Join Hessing and discover the California Native plants in the museum’s outdoor garden through this drawing workshop. Materials will be provided.

Join author and historian Ric A. Dias as he highlights the successes, failures, and limits of Henry J. Kaiser. The audience will learn more about “Miracle Man Kaiser” who built a steel plant in record time and churned out over a million tons of the invaluable metal for the 1940s war effort.

The Ontario Museum of History & Art and guest curators Riea Owens and Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin present, We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. The exhibition will be on view from Thursday, February 2, to Sunday, April 16, 2023.
This juried exhibition highlights artists exploring the significance of the Preamble with works that unpack the nuances of the phrase “We the People,” its imperfections, complexities, and present-day interpretations.”
