The City is excited to announce the start of its Citizens Academy! The Placentia Citizens Academy will be a seven-week educational program designed to empower residents and businesses in learning more about the City, including how our City governance works, how decisions are made, learning about how City resources are allocated, as well as understanding how departments operate and learn about the magic of our operations behind the scenes. During this Academy, participants will have the opportunity to tour City facilities, ask questions, and become more informed and involved citizens. The Citizens Academy will begin on September 14th ,and the City is accepting applications through September 1st.
