Slow Roll & Ski Show Special Event to Celebrate Winter Haven's Trail Town Designation

The next Slow Roll & Ski Show is February 18th! This is a very special roll celebrating Winter Haven's recent Trail Town designation. There will be special guests and giveaways. Sign up in advance so you don't miss it! bit.ly/Slowroll-Signup

What does it mean to be a Trail Town? A Trail Town is a vibrant destination where people come together. It's a place where trail users can venture off a hiking, biking equestrian or paddling trail to enjoy the amenities and unique heritage of the community, benefitting the town economically and socially. Winter Haven’s trail network spans over 14 miles and includes an interconnected system of parks, neighborhoods, schools, community destinations and downtown. Participants will be using the trail for a portion of the Slow Roll!

Slow Roll is a monthly community gathering of bicycling, urban art, craft beer, a little bit of exercise, and an amazing ski show! Participants “slow roll” through downtown Winter Haven and stop mid-roll to take in the Cypress Gardens Ski Team show. Then, they slowly roll back through town to Grove Roots for libations and food truck nourishment. The event is free! (Food & Drink are not included.)

Get to the Slow Roll early for the Trail Town recognition ceremony and to pick up your free Trail Town t-shirt (while supplies last).

Want to participate but don't have a bicycle? The Bike Shop has rentals available, but supplies are limited. Text them to reserve your rental in advance 863-299-9907.
