Tuesday, July 12, 2022

9:00 am - 1:00 pm: 4-H Clothing and Home Environment judging and entry of ALL exhibits for Department C. This includes Quilt Quest. No appointments necessary.
9:00 am - 1:00 pm: 4-H Photography judging and entry of ALL exhibits in Department B, Divisions180-182. No appointments necessary.
5:00 pm - 7:30 pm: Entry of 4-H exhibits in 4-H Building (except Clothing, Home Environment and Photography)

Wednesday, July 13, 2022

8:00 - 10:00 am: Entry of Exhibits In 4-H Building (Except Clothing, Home Environment & Photography).
10:00 am: Judging of 4-H Exhibits in 4-H Building (Building closed during judging hours)
4:00 pm - 7:30 pm: Entry of open class exhibits (except livestock)
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Entry and weigh in of Poultry (also can enter and weigh in on Thursday morning).
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Entry and weigh in of Market beef exhibits
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Entry of Breeding Beef and Cow-Calf Pairs exhibits
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Entry of 4-H horse exhibits, open class horse, donkeys and mule exhibits, FFA horses
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Entry and weigh in of Sheep and Goat exhibits
*By 9:00 am Wednesday notify Beef Superintendents of Feeder Calf and Bucket Calf entries.

Thursday, July 14, 2022

7:00 - 9:00 am: Entry and weighing of all swine exhibits
8:00 am: 4-H Sheep Show followed by FFA Sheep
12:00 pm or following Sheep Show: 4-H Dairy Show followed by FFA Dairy then 4-H Dairy Goats followed by FFA Dairy Goats
Following Dairy Show: 4-H Goat Show followed by FFA Goats
Open class will follow FFA judging.
8:00 - 10:00 am: Entry of all open class exhibits (except horses and mules)
8:00 - 10:00 am: Entry of dairy exhibits
8:00 - 11:00 am: Entry of 4-H & FFA Poultry and Rabbits
8:00 - 12:00 pm: Entry of open class poultry
8:00 am - 8:00 pm: FFA, Vegetable & Commercial building set up
9:00 am: 4-H Horse Show (4-H horses MUST stay for duration of the fair)
10:00 am: Judging of Open Class exhibits in 4-H Building
After Judging - 9:00 pm: 4-H and Open Class Building open
11:00 am: Judging Open Class Arts and Crafts, Textiles, Foods, Vegetables and Photography
12:00 pm: Open class flower judging
1:30 pm: 4-H poultry showmanship followed by 4-H poultry judging - followed by FFA poultry showmanship and judging
4:00 pm: Judging of open class poultry
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm: U HOP Entertainment
6:45 pm: 4-H Fashion Revue at grandstand
7:00 pm: Studio A Dance Studio
7:30 pm: Steps at Tiffany’s Dance Studio
7:30 pm: Open 4-D Barrel Race & Pole Bending
8:00 pm: MWA Pro Wrestling

Open all day: Mountain Men Rendezvous Camp
7:30 am: Beef show starts. Show order will be 4-H Beef Showmanship, Bucket Calf, Feeder calf, Cow-Calf Pair, Breeding Beef, Market Beef and Pen of 3.
Followed by FFA beef showmanship, feeder calves, breeding and market beef.
Breaks will be taken as needed.
8:00 am - 9:00 am: Entry of small animals
8:00 am - 8:00 pm: Antique Tractor display entries
9:00 am: Small animal judging followed by 4-H rabbit showmanship, then 4-H rabbit show.
10:00 am - 10:00 pm: 4-H and Open Class buildings open
12:00 pm - 10:00 pm: FFA , Vegetable & Commercial building open
4:00 pm: Nebraska Putt Putt on the Fly
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm: U HOP Entertainment
6:00 pm: Pee Wee Showmanship
6:00 - 9:00 pm: Wine Tasting $10 (no minors)
7:00 pm: Team Roping at the arena
7:00 pm: Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull
9:00 pm: Open Class Horses, Mules and Donkey exhibits Must be in stalls and will stay for the duration of the fair
9:30 pm: Dance Mason Michaels And The Backroad Spirits

Open all day: Mountain Men Rendezvous Camp
7:30 am: Registration 5K Run/Walk
8:00 am: 5K Run/Walk
8:00 am: Judging of 4-H hogs followed by FFA hog judging
8:30 am: Open Class Horses, Mules and Donkey Show
10:00 am: Set up antique gas engine show
10:00 am - 10:00 pm: 4-H and Open Class buildings open
12:00 pm - 10:00 pm: FFA, Vegetable and Commercial building open
Following the Swine Show, Round Robin 4-H & FFA showmanship contest
2:00 to 8:00 pm: Horn T Zoo
3:00 - 9:00 pm: Nebraska Game & Parks FREE Outdoor Families Event Trailer
3:30 - 8:30 pm: Colors da Clown free face painting and balloon artists
4:00 pm: Nebraska Putt Putt on the Fly
4:30 pm: Frog races (bring your own frog)
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm: U HOP Entertainment
5:00 pm: Kiddie Tractor Pull
6:00 pm: Happy Players Polka Band in 4-H Building
7:30 pm: Forgotten Highway opening for
9:30 pm: Neal McCoy concert

Exhibits On Display All Day
7:30 am: Colfax County Fair Tractor Ride - assemble and register
10:30 am: Worship Service
11:00 am: Pig Wrestling registration
12:00 pm: Pig Wresting
11:00 am - 9:00 pm: 4-H and Open Class buildings open
12:00 pm - 9:00 pm: FFA, Vegetable & Commercial building open
2:00 pm: Registration for Dance Team and Cheerleader contest
2:30 pm: Dance Team and Cheerleader contest at Leigh High School
4:30 pm: Parade - During The Parade, No Candy Can Be Thrown From Any Vehicles. Candy Must Be Handed Out By Walkers.
Immediately following parade - Trophy presentations followed by Aksarben Farm Family awards
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm: U HOP Entertainment
7:00 pm: Grandstand show featuring The Oiler Brothers
8:00 pm: Release of exhibits

Location:

Colfax County Fair is located in Leigh, Nebraska. Leigh is 18 miles North of Schuyler on HWY 15 and then 9 miles West on HWY 91.

The fairgrounds are on the West side of town and can be found by turning West on any street from Main Street.
