As construction continues on the 27 Court Street (Cubes at Plainville), the Planning Board, Select Board, and Town Administration want to make the process as seamless and transparent as possible for all residents.

To reduce the impact of construction on everyone, the certificate of action dated June 14, 2021, by the Planning Board placed stipulations on construction. Click here to access the full certificate.  Among the stipulations is the following:

35. Hours of Construction shall be as follows:
-Interior: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 7:30pm; Saturdays 8:00am to 5:00pm; Sundays prohibited.
-Exterior: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 6:30pm; Saturdays 8:00am to 5:00pm; Sundays prohibited.
-Holidays: No work is allowed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
-Exceptions: These hours of operation may be expanded by approval of the Building Inspector, after a review of the neighborhood impact.
-Contractors: No contractors are allowed on site more than 15 minutes prior to the permitted start of construction.
