Dodgers Activate Miguel Rojas

Los Angeles, CA - The Los Angeles Dodgers activated infielder Miguel Rojas from the injured list and designated catcher Austin Wynns for assignment.

Rojas, 34, missed 10 games with a left hamstring strain. He made two rehab appearances with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, batting .333 (2-for-6) with a homer and two RBI. On the season, he has played in 11 games for the Dodgers, hitting .125 (4-for-32) with one double and three walks. He is in his 10th Major League season, and he is a .259 (738-for-2851) career hitter with 140 doubles, 39 homers and 269 RBI. He was acquired on January 11, 2023 from the Miami Marlins in exchange for infielder Jacob Amaya.

Wynns, 32, appeared in six games for the Dodgers, batting .154 (2-for-13) with a double and two RBI. He has been in the Major Leagues parts of five seasons with Baltimore (2018-,19, 2021), San Francisco (2022-23) and Los Angeles (2023), hitting a combined .229 (111-for-485) with 12 homers and 53 RBI. In his minor league career, spanning nine seasons, he slashed .272/.348/.377 with 34 homers and 245 RBI. He was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2013 First Year Player Draft out of Fresno State University.
