DODGERS WALKER BUEHLER TO HAVE SEASON-ENDING SURGERY
Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler will have season-ending elbow surgery on August 23 performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

Buehler, 28, made 12 starts for the Dodgers this season, going 6-3 with a 4.02 ERA (29 ER/65.0 IP) and 58 strikeouts. In his career, spanning six seasons with the Dodgers, the right-hander is a combined 46-16 with a 3.02 ERA (214 ER/638.1 IP) and 690 strikeouts. The Two-time All-Star was originally drafted in the first round of the 2015 First Year Player Draft out of Vanderbilt University.
