Nella Continues to be Silent for Political Gain

As the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to hear a historically consequential case about the future of medication abortion, New Mexicans can expect No-Answer Nella to remain silent to continue avoiding accountability for holding far-right positions. Despite being 68 days into her campaign for U.S. Senate without giving a single interview, New Mexicans already know that Nella supported extreme anti-choice candidates who oppose all abortion with no exception.

“Ahead of the U.S. Supreme Court hearing on the future of access to Mifepristone, we can count on No-Answer Nella to say nothing on the matter as she remains silent in hopes that voters won’t have a position to hold her accountable for,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Spokesperson Daniel Garcia. “Nella remains silent because despite her record of funding anti-abortion candidates, she knows that New Mexico voters overwhelmingly support keeping our state a safe haven for abortion rights and reproductive health care. The Democratic Party of New Mexico is confident that voters will see right through her plan to skate through her campaign saying as little as possible by relying on her last name and Wall Street connections.”

Obviously, Nella does not take New Mexicans seriously enough to tell us where she stands on the most important issues. Whether her silence is a calculated centerpiece of her campaign strategy or merely ineptitude, New Mexicans deserve better.
