GOALS for Economic Security for All

U.S. Congressman Jason Crow, Douglas and Arapahoe County Commissioners and staff, and representatives from Family Tree and Denver Metro Homeless Initiative convened on April 20 to celebrate the award of $1 million in federal funding to begin a Generational Opportunities to Achieve Long-Term Success (GOALS) program in Douglas County.

The program, founded by Arapahoe County Government, in partnership with The Family Tree, has one overarching goal: to achieve two-generational economic security for families experiencing homelessness. This residentially based four-to-nine month structured residential program takes a two-generational approach to enhancing economic self-sufficiency through whole-family services. We appreciate Rep. Jason Crow for his work to secure this funding.
