Douglas County knows you and your fur babies have been patiently waiting for renovations at Glendale Farm Dog Park. Great news! Phase 1 is now open to the public.

Phase 1 renovations included construction of the southern parking lot and trail. Now, visitors can enjoy improved vegetation, (and reduced mud) on the southern side of the park.

Phase 2 includes the reconstruction of the northern parking lot and Glendale Farm Trail. This phase is now underway. For safe construction, the northern parking lot and the Glendale Farm Trail will be temporarily closed.

Once the entire project is complete after the first of the year, visitors can also expect improved drainage and erosion control with a reduction of odor and muddy conditions, as well as improved vegetation and reduced maintenance costs throughout the park. The park is located just north of the Interstate 25 and Castle Pines Parkway interchange.

Protecting our historic and natural resources is a core priority for the Board of County Commissioners. Learn more about these efforts online.
