Greensboro, NC - An Early College at Guilford student is among approximately 840 students nationwide to receive a corporate-sponsored scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
 
Senior Eric Wang received funding through Northrop Grumman Corporation, a global corporation primarily serving the defense and electronic systems requirements of governments, commerce,and industry in the U.S. and friendly nations around the world. Northrop Grumman Corporation annually supports Merit Scholarship awards for the children of employees.

Scholars were selected from students who advanced to the Finalist level in the National

Merit Scholarship competition and met criteria of their scholarship sponsors. Recipients can use their awards at any regionally accredited U.S. college or university of their choice.

More National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced in May, June and July.
