Eastport, Maine is home to the largest 4th of July Festival in the state of Maine. Come celebrate the beauty of this land in this historic port city on the Atlantic Ocean.

Schedule of Events:
Saturday, July 1st
10:00 Opening of Craft Fair and Vendors
1:00 Book Signing, Mark C. Borton. Moondoogle: Franklin Roosevelt and the Fight for Tidal-Electric Power at Passamaquoddy Bay, StudioWorks, 48 Water Street.
1:00 Frisbee Contest. Library Lawn.
1:30 Limbo Contest. Library Lawn.
3:00 Bike Races. Starts half-way down Deep Cove Road and end at the Fire Station. Trike and ages 2-4 in parking lot.
7:30-10pm Street Dance.  Family friendly music to kick off our celebration!  Overlook Park.

Sunday, July 2nd
7:30-8:30am Registration for the Charles E. Davis Independence Run and Walk. 7-mile run. 4-mile walk. Shead High School, 89 High Street. Online registration and information: runsignup.com/Race/ME/Eastport/CharlesEDavisIndependenceRun
9:00 51st Annual Charles E. Davis Independence Run and Walk Begins. Perry Corner/Carlow Island to Eastport.
10:00 Opening of Craft Fair and Vendors
10:00 Kids Cupcake Decorating Contest. Overlook Park. Prizes
10-3:00 Laser Tag. Library Lawn.
10-3:00 Caricatures. Library Lawn.
11:00 Watermelon Eating Contest. Overlook Park. Prizes.
1:00 Little Mr. & Miss 4th of July (ages 2-4).  Overlook Park.
2:00-4:00 Restored Civil War Murals on display for viewing at GAR Veterans Hall, 6 Green Street.
2:30-4:00 Look for Magician PHIL SMITH roaming downtown for some epic magic tricks!
4:00 Pet Show.  Cutest, Most Patriotic, Best Tricks, Most Unusual, Best of Show.  Overlook Park.  Prizes.
5:00 Class of 1973 Memorial Bench decication by City Manager and officials. Overlook Park.
5:30 Magician PHIL SMITH of ABRACADABRA PRODUCTIONS. Award winning, over 30 years of experience, and performed at more than 2,000 events! Shead High School. $5.00 per person or $20/family.
6:00 Class of 1993 Reunion. Waco Diner. Water Street.
6:00-8:00 Class of 2013 Reunion. Horn Run Brewing. Water Street.

Monday, July 3rd
9:00 Dale Lincoln Kids' Fun Run. Ages 13 and under. Boat School to former Dead River Company on Key Street.
9:30 Tiny Tots Fair and face painting. Library Lawn. Children's games for ages 5 and under.
10:00 Opening of Craft Fair and Vendors
10:00 Auction to Benefit Border Historical Society. In front of Quoddy Crafts. Water Street.
11:00 Community Portrait by Photographer Thaddeus Holownia, Sutherland Amphitheater.
12:00 Miss 4th of July Contest. Overlook Park. Little Miss 5-8, Junior Miss 9-13, and Miss 14-18. Contestants for all age categories must register before 12 noon.
1:00 Strawberry Shortcake Sale. Sponsored by Peavey Memorial Library Board. Library Park.
2:00 Fireman's Muster. Water Street.
3:30 Annual Codfish Relay Race. Water Street. 16 and under or 16 and over. Must have four members for a team.
6:00 Class of 2003 Reunion. The Cannery. Water Street.
6:00-8:00 Live Music by Minor Characters Band. Overlook Park.
DUSK Torchlight Parade. Post Office to Motel East.

Tuesday, July 4th - Independence Day
Sunrise - 63rd Annual Flag Raising at Breakwater.
7:00-11:00 Annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast. Eastport Municipal Airport.
9:00 Land Sports. Kids Races and Prizes. Water Street.
Penny Scramble in memory of Reid F. Craig to follow directly after land sports.
9:00 46th Annual Buddy Allen Car, Truck & Bike Show. Cars welcome to arrive at 8am. Judging begins at 10am. Location will either be at Bank Square or the Breakwater (to be determined).
10:00 Opening of Craft Fair and Vendors.
10:00 Capture the Flag. Breakwater.
Exact time depends on Tides    Rubber Ducky Race. Ducks cost $5 and are available in advance at The First Bank or during select events at Overlook Park. Ducks will race between the Fish Pier and the Waco Diner. Prizes 1st $300, 2nd $150 and 3rd $50.
Exact race start time will depend upon tides.
11:00 Annual Blueberry Pie Eating Contest. Overlook Park. Prizes.
11:00 Crab Roll and Bake Sale at Eastport Senior Citizen Center.
12:00 Doll Carriage, Wagon, Bike and Trike Parade. Sponsored by Eastport Youth Association. Prizes. Post Office to Bank Square.
2:00 Grand Independence Day Parade. Theme: "Land that I Love."  Floats line up on Staniels Road by Youth Center. Judging at 1:15pm. First $500, Second $300, Third $200. Best decorated 4-wheeler $75.
4:30-6:00 Barbara's School of Dance. Overlook Park.
6:00-8:30 Live Music by Stillwaters Band. Overlook Park.
DUSK Grand Presentation of Eastport's Fantastic Fireworks Display. Waterfront.
